2023 Short-Term Mission Trip Application

Thank you for your interest in a 2023 Sojourn Short- Term trip! We are excited for what God is doing in and through His people at Sojourn and around the globe. We know that God is pursuing the hearts of the nations, and on behalf of the Sojourn Missions Team we are so thankful you desire to be part of that.

While we hope to place all applicants on a short-term mission team, please understand that applying for a trip does not guarantee a spot on a team. We review all applications and build teams intentionally based on the needs of our ministry partners and available space in that particular location.

Here are a few important dates:

Application deadline: February 26, 2023
Teams will be Announced: February 27, 2023
First Team Meeting: with all participants together at The Gathering on Main on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 6:30pm.
Deposit Due: $250/pp deposit due by March 1st, 2023. This confirms your spot on the team! You will receive instructions for how to do this once you submit your application.

There will be a minimum of four REQUIRED team trainings leading up to the trip. These trainings are for the benefit of you, the team, and our mission field partners. I will give you the training dates after you submit your application so that you can block them out on your calendar. If you have date conflicts, please let me know as soon as possible.

I attest that I do not have any immunocompromising conditions, such as but not limited to cancer, respiratory disease, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, or organ transplant. I further acknowledge that at this time I am not taking any immunocompromising medications, such as but not limited to chemotherapy, high dose steroids, or treatments for autoimmune disease.

COVID restrictions are entirely or significantly lifted in most countries, but there are still some risks associated with traveling post-COVID, including but not limited to COVID exposure and extended length of stay. Examples include family at home, employment, health, and other personal conflicts. *This DOES NOT disqualify you from joining a team. It simply guides our Sojourn Missions team to make individualized trip placement decisions.*
