WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY PERSON WHO PLACES THEIR FAITH IN CHRIST IS PART OF THE UNIVERSAL CHURCH AND IS CALLED TO COMMIT TO A LOCAL CONGREGATION FOR THE SAKE OF LIVING OUT THE GREAT COMMISSION AND THE COMMANDS OF SCRIPTURE IN COMMUNITY WITH OTHERS.  
Each believer is empowered by the Holy Spirit to glorifying Christ by building up the church and bearing witness to Jesus.  In keeping with the prayer of Jesus, we believe a loving community is the greatest witness to the gospel.  We seek to be a community that is united around the love of the Father and the truths of the scripture, growing towards Christ-like change as we serve one another and practice the commands of Christ.  Members of a local church are to be empowered to participate in the ministry of God as they commit to each other, submit to the Scripture and are shepherded by the plurality of qualified pastors (elders).
