MARRIAGE
WE BELIEVE THAT GOD CREATED MARRIAGE TO BE A LOVING, EXCLUSIVE AND COVENANTAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN.
We reject the belief that every person should be married and that marriage elevates the worth, dignity or happiness of the individual. We affirm that true joy comes through a relationship with Jesus and that we are in this world for a purpose. Marriage is meant to be experienced in dependence upon Christ and in participation with his work in this world. Marriage was created with a purpose but we were not created for marriage.
