CHURCH DISCIPLINE
WE BELIEVE GOD HAS DESIGNED CHURCH DISCIPLINE TO BE THE PROCESS THROUGH WHICH SIN IS LOVINGLY CONFRONTED AND SINNERS LOVINGLY RESTORED WITHIN THE CHURCH COMMUNITY.
There are three primary goals of this process: 1. Encourage one another to experience the beautiful life God designed for us. 2. Protect members from false teachers and the deceit of sin. 3. Continually display the beauty of Jesus to the world. If you engage regularly and habitually in sin that is destructive to yourself and those around you and do not repent, you will be removed from membership at Sojourn. Sojourn takes membership and all it entails (including Church Discipline) seriously.
