Sojourn ELDERSHIP CANDIDATES

We entered 2022 with the conviction to expand the Elder Team.
There are currently 3 elder candidates who are walking through the
assessment process, and another 3 candidates who are in the initial phase
of prayerful consideration before entering the assessments.

The time devoted to each assessment phase of the process differs depending
on the candidate, their family and the season.

Two candidates have completed the assessments with the Elders and are moving on
to the fourth and final phase that requires participation from the membership. 

For the ‘Member Assessment’ phase, we are asking you to raise any and all concerns
that you may have about each candidate's character, leadership or theology. The concerns
you raise will remain confidential. Your voice is critical to this process.

We are asking you to submit concerns over the next four weeks and then give us the
month of October to work through and respond to all of the concerns that are raised.

Bryon Thomas

Bryon Thomas has faithfully served as a community  group leader since 2013 and serves weekly in Sojourn Kids. He and his wife Anna were part of the original   bible study that became Sojourn and have served   faithfully in various ministries.

Brian and Anna have been married for 13 years. They have four children, Capri, Judah, Corbin and Toby.

Brian Sholly

Brian Sholly currently serves on staff as the Director of Operations. Brian and his wife Yolanda have been married for 39 years. They have four children and nine grandchildren. Both Brian and Yolanda have served faithfully in various ministries since they joined in 2019.
